About Climate Camp

Earth Charter Indiana is the only organization in Indiana combining climate stewardship with civic action. In the process, we incorporate humane education practices while emphasizing racial and social justice issues, along with conflict resolution principles. Climate Camp is one of our signature programs. Our Camps provide the opportunity for young people, ages 6 on up to dig deep on climate change and climate solutions. Every camp is different, but we always mix science, art, nature connection, service-learning and civic action.

In addition to our weeklong camps, we offer drop-in and day camps to partner organizations who want to take climate action with their youth. Plus, we go on field trips (Eskenazi SkyFarm, Indy Urban Acres, Freewheelin' Community Bikes, Fruit Loop Acres, etc.) and have a lot of fun! Contact us if you are interested in hosting us!

In 2023 our Bus Camp kids were interviewed by Anne Laker for a spot on local public radio station, 99.1 WQRT. You can hear that interview by clicking the play button below.
