Pike Township Trustee’s Office Holds First Annual Christmas Help Program

The Pike Township Trustee’s Office held their first annual Christmas Help Program. The event was held on Saturday, December 21st , 2019 at the Pike Township Government Center from 2-4 p.m. for families in the Township. The event served fifteen families with food, gift cards and toys. Children took pictures with PTFD Union President Ron Hendrix, who dressed as Santa.

Trustee Annette Johnson and PTFD Chief Chris Tragesser greeted families along with Township Staff and Pike Fire Fighters. Local businesses Costco, Con Agra, Kroger, Clif Bar, Insurance Management Group and Team Rehabilitation, along with Elected Official State Senator J. D. Ford who also participated in donating to this event. Trustee Johnson said she was grateful for the community partnerships and looks forward to the Christmas 2020 Help Program.
